Dutch oven cobbler

Dutch oven cobbler is an all time favorites at hunting camp or cook outs, but did you know you can cook it at home too. Ooh, Aw!

Cooking it in a dutch oven is a little bit harder, but not much. I just use two ingredients, white cake mix and peaches, or blue berry pie filling, or just about any other fruit. I some times just put the canned peaches or blue berries on the bottom juice and all. Them put the cake mix on top dry and mix it a little. Other times I really mix it good. In a dutch oven you would put coals on the top and bottom  of your oven. More on the top than the bottom. it doesn't need to cook long, just long enough to bubble.

If you are home and want a fast yummy dessert just put it in a casserole dish and cook it in the oven. Eat it with ice cream or whipped cream.
